Head in first to park 2 cars in a two cars garage. And you have to park a bit with some angles to maximize your space. More like this: |\ /| so that you can still enter the garage and have usable space. It is very difficult to do this with tail in without hitting something.

I remember in my aunt's old house built in the 90's her two car garage can fit a BMW 318 and Accord pretty nicely. Door will not hit unless you force it, and there is swing space on the side so cleaning the cars inside the garage was a breeze. When I got my house, I can barely park it, not to mention to clean the car in the garage.

Hmmm my family's house was built relatively recently and it has these garage doors that are kinda narrow...you actually have to be a little careful driving into them!

Actually we just use them for storing random stuff, but I tried driving into the opening before and I got a little nervous.

Haha, if I parked like that I'd take out both the water heater and the stairway going up into the house.
Yeah, I lost like five feet of useable width that way. Sucks. I don't think it's financially reasonable to enlarge the garage though. Nor do I think my HOA would approve.

If I'm detailing or wrenching though, it's one car in the garage. Smack in the middle.

I got you. When I look at some of the floorplans on houses they have this wall that cut a bit into one parking spot. That makes parking two cars a challenge. You really can only park small cars in that spot, just like some parking spaces where it said small cars only.

As to the garage door, you can have either one car wide or two car wide. Luckily I asked for the two car wide garage door so that I don't need to deal with walls on both sides. It is really easy to clip your front wheel arc on either side if you are not careful.

OH GOD! last night i schooled my wife on Stance...everything from Hellaflush, VIP, OniCamber, offset, stretch and poke..etc..

I went to bed, woke up in the middle of the night around 3am finding my wife lurking stancenation on her Ipad.

she goes...."iv decided im selling my corolla for a white '12 Lexus GS, and dump it on pink work wheels"..

im like..first off..did you really just say dump? ..and second..WHY ARE YOU PICKING A BRAND NEW CAR?! OMG!

im doomed...she looks dead set on getting a stanced Lexus...nooohh!! if that happens my plans on getting a '14/'15 FRS or BRZ will have to get pushed back further.

Do agree w her on 12 GS is nice... BUT that's still a brand new car! Tell her to get used older GS or LS models. They still looks nice!
