Being tempted by heavy, boosted car again.
Mk3 Supra, 7MGTE upgraded single over 350 to the wheels, known car, LHD (piss on JDM third gear, windshield wiper lane changes and turning left at intersections!!!), hardtop (piss on wobbly targas!). Still available... Same (or better?) static weight balance as the twins, plus double wishbones up front, plus room for big tires, plus the ability to easily cut weight to less than a GenCoupe. I am a Mk3 addict.

My brother an I nearly jumped on a '74 Celica GT that was in decent running condition. The guy we bought our 1959 Morris Mini from showed it to us after we bought the Mini, so we decided to pass on it for now.
Holy crap, forget MK4s or MK3s, or even the twins, I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO DO A CELICA MUSCLE CAR BUILD MY WHOLE LIFE!!! Either a Toyota V8 or a 2JZ would go in that sucker and it would be glorious!! I hope it is still available when my brother finishes the Mini... The Mini is badass btw, it's just sad that I won't be able to work on it, since I am moving to IL. 560 miles to go til Chitown! I'm somewhere in Missouri....

My goal has always been 180lbs pure muscle. Unfortunately the planets have yet to align and I'm still stuck at 166. Le sigh

I keep looking for local Mk1s, too. Ugly, solid rear axle, but the grandaddy of all Supras. Keep finding ok shape automatics. A nice manual popped up last month but it was $12k!!!

Even though I consider myself a Supra Aficionado, I can honestly say I've never seen a MK1 or MK2 before. The MK2 is a interesting looking thing IMO, but the MK1s are a bit more appealing, although their appeal is mostly in the fact that it is the origins of the MK3 and MK4 that we all love oh so much... I wonder if there any local two me... 2JZ swapped MK1, anyone?
