Actually, maybe I'm being a bit harsh. If I read the rules with a noob mindset, they do seem a bit tl:dr-ish.

Rule itself isn't that long. Important part is in bold, not asking to read every word for word... but could at least read the bolded words.

& to add, I want to make Newbie beginner thread in the general thread, so they can see basic info to check/click. What should I add?

usually unless it's in their face on the internet, they will play the stupid card. I say we make a bot that posts sub forum rules in every new thread made as second post, lol.

See, I struggle with the same thing at work. I spend way too much time carefully crafting a tip sheet to make it as easy and simple as possible only to be disappointed because no one bothers reading their email much less click on a link to a procedure.

...but I caught myself doing the same thing yesterday.

I would like to help with that Ichi. I will draft up something based on the most common questions and statements. One stickied place with the most common linked to threads would be a whole lot easier to hand them then pulling up each individual topic. Not that I expect it will stop the questions but make it easier to answer them.

Thanks! PM on that info plz. I'm currently making rough draft in Mod section, so I have it made and move it in FRS & BRZ General section thread & sticky it.

Weeknights 9pm to 4:30am. Weekends 3am to whenever I want to get up

Weekends are when I get to spend some quality time with the PNW guys here (and for some strange reason @Dadhawk can still be up then as well). Or at least once the snow flies and they are on.

What makes you think these lazy people that don't read the rules are going to read a beginners thread?
