Made the mistake of finding Initial D on Netflix... now I can't stop watching.

Makes me wish I spoke Japanese, I catch myself making up my own dialog in my head instead of reading the subtitles.

Yea, the real problem is all my "street racing" experience comes when I was a kid in the Carolinas, so in my head they all have Southern accents and it always ends with someone's Camaro wrapped around a telephone pole (the NC state tree). And it all starts at the top of the hill in a bait store...

You know, when I used to race in touge (w EvoV), once army or navy guy brought his old Camaro & challenged one of top racer w his R33. That Camaro didn't even make 5 corners before eaten by touge monster.

Street racing? I took an on ramp at 70MPH while a Challenger tried to do the same behind me. Blew him away on the ramp, but as soon as it straightened out he was past me.

But I never street race.

Worse day for traffic ever. A broken down semi made my morning commute take two hours. I was an hour late to work this morning. Then a car fire made my evening commute take an hour and a half. Ridiculous.

I really never did either. Back when I did it we called it just another Saturday night with nothing better to do, but it wasn't racing.

I had a similar experience with a Grand Prix GXP. Except he almost lost it around the turn.
