Hey I also have a Kyosho rally car. I have the Electric DRX. Also saw one of these at Aero Micro down in Sunnyvale last week and it took a lot of willpower not to buy it. Its even in my color.

Anyway sorry don't mean to thread jack. This is all about the drive.

Bwah! Thanks so much! Believe me I not once said that I wish the guy in front of me would hurry up. I don't think I could have gone much faster. I only went a little sideways on a few of those BIG hairpins where you can basically see the entire corner including up the other side a little and I was in sport mode for the whole drive. My very first hairpin was sloppy but OK, the other 2 or 3 aggressive turns were a little better. I would love to try some track time. Something really technical. But I want to upgrade my breaks first.

-- Jason

P.S. - Yeah my only regret about the drive was not getting to really meet anybody. Next time.

It sounds crazy but once you've had some autox or track days you'll find you can go even faster. Then you ride along with someone else who is really good and you realize that with the right skills, you can go even faster.
But take it easy and work your way up, and enjoy the drive.

also you'll find that there will be MEETS, and there will be DRIVES. MEETS are about hanging out, checking out each other's mods, sharing insights on the cars and generally getting to know your fellow 86ers. Sometimes lifelong friendships are forged from these meets. DRIVES are of course more about hitting the road and enjoying these cars, using them how they were meant to be driven. You will maximize your 86 ownership experience by taking part in both kinds of events.

Nice vid. Learned new roads. Glad you guys put the drive and vids together, saved me some gas haha lol j/p.

Well put PMok, define drive and cruise. May I add also that by some strange phenom that a faster driver is willing to pass the driver in front of him/her, the driver being past should hold their speed, don't drag race the passer. And if possible, carefully pull to the right, not necessarily off onto the shoulder, giving the passing car a lil more to cleanly pass.

I love a fast Toyota Prius .

I was thinking the same thing, but thought there was one already made? If not, lets get one going! I need to be able to identify which BRZs are gonna wave back and which are just going to give me a blank look.

There goes the thread...
