Quick critique though, on the last leg of the drive I noticed the car in front of me tailgating the car in front of him pretty bad. And going full into the opposite lane for turns that did not necessitate that kind of driving. It was dangerous driving from my viewpoint, and unnecessary on a fun drive like this. I get that you have grippier tires and are lowered, but you don't have to tail those who are just out to have fun and are on stockers. This also set the pace at the front a little quicker than I think most people wanted, so there was a big gap between the cars in front of me and the ones behind.

Anyway, just something to keep in mind when going on a larger drive in the future. I want future drives to go as well as this one did!

I have never ever EVER done driving like that before and it was a fun drive well within what I think my limits are and also getting a feel for the car. I only cautiously pushed the car hard on some of the big hairpins where you can see the whole corner including up the other side of the pin for oncoming traffic (Mainly second leg).

Elaborating on that, I chose my corners very carefully for several reasons. I didn't want to be "that guy" who wrecks, or worse. Of course I didn't want to get injured, injure my passenger (who had a BLAST BTW) and not damage my car that I have been saving up for years to buy or worse CAUSE an accident ramming into the person in front of me or crashing and causing the person behind me to ram into me.

But I don't think I am saying anything that everyone else was thinking/doing. 90 percent of driving is common sense.

Thanks again for David for organizing this. I had a great time and also had fun flying my wing at the beach. I wish I could have brought some of my more advanced R/C gear. But it was a car meet & drive first.

This drive is mostly going in the books on NorCal 86 club! ( If someone writes one :P)

The entire meet and drive experience was mesmerizing! It's not that I haven't done this before, but I guess the company of excellent people made a huge difference!

I notice now after this drive I am getting random metallic clunking/popping noises coming from the rear/trunk area while driving normally.

It's beginning to sound like racecar!

Dude thanks man! I have to admit I actually love the blurry one showing the motion. I think his phone was an iPhone 4S.
