Hahahaha. This is my position on it after trying it. IF you have a perfect tune for the EBCS and don't mind depending 100% on the tuner to change boost or plan to never ever change it, the EBCS is a good option.

BUT, if the tune for it is not 1000% perfect, might as well go with the Manual.

The absolute best is a full EBC. gives you all the freedom to change boost as pleased, allows to fine tune the solenoid actuation and gives you room to change settings for future mods.


That EBCS acted like a mad man on my car. Sometimes 20 psi, others 9, other started at 16 then dropped to 10.....

The initial torque hit @ 20 psi is absolutely ridiculous, but it would go all over he place after that.

I slapped the MBC on it and it feels so incredible now. Constant. Hits a peak of 17 or si, then settles down in the 16-14 range. Power feels linear again, jsut like I always wanted it. I'll stay like this, maybe the bug will hit in the future for EBC, but for now I'm good.

fuck EBC, im waiting for toni to finish work on different boost levels per map. then can change boost with my cruise control stick. now that's stealthy

He has the tune for External Gates complete and good to go. Mine was the first internally gated and they react super different. I don't have the time (or patience at this point in time) to use my car to fine tune anything but my tune. Maybe someone else with an internally gated turbo can fine tune it with him and I'll get that. But in the meantime, the MBC works perfect for what I want.

i aint got time for all this turbo stuff. and then ill jus want more power. this is a way to keep the NA feeling i love while limiting me to the power i want and not tryin to change my mind and go overboard lol
