hows it holding up? i was lead to believe the car has to high a compression to be reliable on more then 8/9 PSI. so that was my biggest concern with going forced air

crawford made a nice 450WHP build on their internals and a much lower compression

This motor is a freak. It was designed to be turbowed but lower compresion (FA20DIT on the new WRX), yet given high compression pistons and 8 fuel injectors. That combination is proving to be something unheard of.

I also thought 5-6 psi was going to be max... But with the added knock resistance provided by E85, its been holding up pretty good. That does not mean all motors are great and bullteproof, but the failure rate is very low.

Forget you ever saw that video. Crawford thinks you need their shortblock with lower compression if you add an intake to your car. Instead go see what LJ and the boys at Full Blown Motorsports are doing.

I like the new Delicious Tuning hype machine. It reminds me of when Andy @ FA20Club.com started posting for Toni.

unfortunatly i live in canada on a little island to the west so E85, not exactly easy to come by. but it certainly builds confidence in putting forced air into the car. by the time i can afford it, if yours hasnt blown up ill probably go with a similar set up

With 93 you are limited by knock, but still can make 300+ whp. You can also look into a meth kit if only 93 available.
