there has been no 2+2 car i have ever ridden in that has been comfortable. you may "fit" but it is NEVER comfortable.

A 2 door car with 5 seats however is comfortable.

Lot of buyers have kids, and even if they aren't going to be in there all the time, you want it "possible" in case the primary family hauler is in the shop or both kids have to be picked up at the same time, etc.

That's why so many of us HAVE to eliminate 2 seaters right off the bat.

Definately hope the seats are completely removable, but keep em around for when it's time to sell.

Pft... my seat would be up close to the steering wheel (I'm only 154cm or 5'') so they'll be room for someone who sits behind me. Lol

Theres going to be room for more then one person behind your seat...

Honestly tho, I have rarely ever needed 4 seats in any car I've owned. I drive a two seater now and have never needed to drive more then my spouse with me.

I got the Scion rep at the NAIAS to open the door of the car while it was spinning, and there wasn't a lot of room behind the front seat, but it looked like it was ALL the way back. If you slid it forward maybe 6", I think there would have actually been a respectable amount of space in the back.

caucasians in an 86

http://www.whatcar.com/car-news/toyo...-review/260443

not sure if this has been posted here but there is a short shot of the 86 interior and 3 guys sitting inside at about 3:27 into the video. the young guy in the shirt is seen standing in the background in the next shot. he looks fairly tall maybe 6' but then guess the old guy who sat in the front seat is probably 5'6" or something. the guy in the back didnt look too uncomforatable..

huh based on that this looks like it might actually have more rear room than the celica.

This is my idea of the rear seats for this car. They will be one of the first things that will be coming off... They are no use, don't want them, don't need them....

^ That looks really nice. I hope they can make something useful like that for us. If not The back seat will become the back shelf.

The only one's that will ever be in the back seat of mine will be my kids, 6yo and 9yo. So I should be fine.
