What pressures/shock settings did you end up running at Dixie?

Hello,

I was using solostorm this past weekend and while I had messed around with it at a couple locals, this was the first time I really looked at the data carefully.

I'm also using a non-WiFi gopro and when I went to do an overlay of the data in RaceRender, I noticed an odd shift between the rpm data and the speed data. So, I made some plots and got shifts that look like this:

I sent an e-mail to solostorm with all the data and Mike has no real explanation so far.

Judging by your video above, it looks like your data may be similar. Have you looked at it detail? Even without the excel, I can see 0.3-0.6 sec offsets between speed peaks and rpm peaks on the solostorm traces.

PS Here's an example of one of my overlays:

I haven't dove in that deep. My codriver has the main SS setup and he hasnt been in for a few events. Running it on my phone has been pretty hit and miss so I gave up when my codriver isn't around with his tablet (haven't been able to spare $200 for a Nexus 7 for myself)

Saturday had a downpour that we ran in all day, car wouldn't stop sliding for anything but was fun, even with my rear tires digging up dirt, sideways.

Sunday had much better weather. I knew the first heat (which I ran) would be a damp, green, course at the beginning. I made PSI and shock changes accordingly and went to running.

Fast Phil was indeed fast. I destroyed his FRS last time we ran, in October, but after I gave him some setup help, he came back swinging at me! He led me all day, with a really fast run 1 and a faster run 2. Fortunately he did not get quicker from there while I steadily got quicker. However, after 4 runs, I had not caught his 2nd run.

On my last run, I had to take a rerun due to timing error. I RUSHED to get the tires cooled and aired down as I was the last person to do run 5 as is so everyone was waiting on me to end the heat.

Re-run went really well. Made a few mistakes I know but this run surprisingly quick. 49.4 was enough to take over Phil's 49.7

Took 9th of 123 in PAX
