On the cruise from Reno to Vegas, can we stop by the Alien Cafe by Area 51? Also want to take some pictures at the Area 51 signs if we drive by it. Only if you guys are down for it.

That would be kick ass! I'll play with the map and see what it would do to the trip to cut over to the Extraterrestrial HWY and take that into Vegas if people are game.

*Edit* Only adds 46 miles (1 Hour) to cut over to the 375. I'm down for this. Who knows if I'll ever drive this direction again so what the hell.

I'll be heading down to Reno Wednesday, but doubt I'll make it to Tigard by 8am. I live in Arlington Washington and google says it's 3 hours and 50 minutes to get there. No way in hell I'm getting up that early! Was planning on leaving around 6am to try and beat the Seattle rush hour, but that would put me down there around 9:30.

We need to make it to the dinner at 8:00PM so we need to plan this well Thursday morning. What is the driving time from Reno to Vegas?

Edit/ Also I'm gonna get a hold of the detail guy in Vegas, and he can probably do it at the MGM parking lot after Auto-X since we will have cone marks and what not. Who's game for this? I will ask price, and I'm assuming exterior job only. I will post up once I get more info.

Ok so got a hold of the Detailing guy, Thebestdetail.com, and he has Friday blocked off from 11:00AM for the FT86 expo cars. He is willing to come to MGM to do our cars, the problem is we have Auto-X that night so we may need to clean off the scuffs our selves. With my 3M adhesive remover spray, its fucking cake.

So Friday, Detailing our cars at MGM, it will be $35 ~ $45 exterior only, about 45min ~ 1 hour per car. I am going to schedule one, and if you are too, please let me know ASAP. This will be after 11:00AM, and not sure which slot we will get.

We'll make the decision on Wednesday on the route change. It makes it an 8 hour drive but that time is based on the speed limit.

We weren't actually leaving my place until 9:00. 8:00 was for meetup/breakfast and to gather ourselves. It would be great if you could leave Arlington just a little bit early and get to my place by 9:00.

I'm going to look for a self serve power wash joint and do that on Friday morning. If this detailer has experience washing dipped cars then I might look at doing that but I'd hate for some type of product get on the car that degrades the dip.
