Oh yea, you do need to get the car re-inspected with your states inspection. Just make sure they give you a 2 year sticker and not the regular 1 year that the guy performs daily.

I purchased mine in Colorado and the dealership there took care of everything. I left with some documents to hold onto and a few weeks later received everything else I need in the mail. The dealership also handled cutting a check to the Louisiana DMV so that tax, title and all that jazz was rolled into the loan. I ended paying $14 when I went to the DMV and handed in all the paperwork to get my license plate.

Would this be Mike Shaw Subaru in Denver? They had a ton in stock when I bought last month. I was going to fly in there and drive, but wound up finding one 2 hours away, instead of 9.

Actually no, it's Groove Subaru. Car just got delivered today. Funny you mention Mike Shaw though, because I used their prices to have Groove price match. So I am getting mine for about $27,200 + TTL. They have been awesome so far working with me.. Just can't wait to pick it up in a weeks time.

I am looking at doing this exact thing. I have a deposit on a WRB Limited 6MT in Michigan, but was quoted MSRP if I can pay invoice aka 1600 off, a cheap flight via Sprirt Air and gas will only cost me a couple hundred. It would be worth it. Plus its a free trip to my favorite state. Either that or take the quote from the dealer in Denver and make the Michigan dealer get close in price.
