haha I'm excited too just finishing up my packing etc.

confirmed my hotel late checkin and everything is a go!

last minute random notes: if anyone has two-way FRS type radios bring 'em! I have a pair so I can give one to someone. Faster/more efficient than dialing each other up on cell. Though it would be pretty damn funny if I could use my work's telephone conf system to have a "group call" during the whole drive LOL.

Just gotta go hit up the bank for some gambling/mod money

and the supermarket for a few road trip snacks. Let me just say from my last roadtrip, I discovered that peanut butter filled pretzel nuggets are the perfect roadtrip companion!

Wife and I took a fat road trip to Yellowstone once and survived on combos, snyders and hostess donettes lol but why buy them ahead of time? That defeats the tradition of that first fuel stop at that one gnarly/shady gas station in the middle of nowhere and trusting that that "corndog" you just bought won't kill you

LOL maybe when I was younger... now I need to be more careful what I eat haha. Though I do have to say, I have a time-honored tradition when I drive to Vegas, to always stop in Baker at that one big gas station/food mart and get a crispy hot corn dog at the A&W there... always fantastic. Not sure if we will have time to stop there this time though. Also not sure if we would want to try and stop by the big thermo and take a group pic in the dark LOL.

We're running behind schedule and there's traffic in Livermore... Will probably set us back hour or two. 559 we won't reach Bako by 8pm. Maybe like 9.
