It is because they hold us a spot for that time, there isn't a 'reservation'. I have talked with the front guy several times, and it makes sense. What he was saying is if they save us a spot for 7:30, and we mosey in at like 7:35 or so, they don't have any deposit down to officially save that time for us. If Sykart receives walk ins that are ready to go, officially at 7:31 Sykart can bump us and have the walk ins race next. That is why a couple months ago I posted we need to be in there by no later than 7:30. They are saving the time for us because they are trying to have good customer service and know us, but they are a business too so I see their right after 7:31.

I always showed up at 7:30 and got registered for my race immediately so that we would have our slot at 8pm. Maybe the issue was when I wasn't there nobody was doing that. I think that as long as someone gets there by 7:30 and gets checked in immediately the 8pm 1st race would be a go.
