The silver lacks that metallic depth! Mercedes silver is AEWESOME!!!

So I changed my mind and ordered the gray. I was simply not happy with any of the available colors.

Is ultramarine really that hard to keep clean? Ie, does it show off dirty easily? Anyone regret buying it?

Yep rocks chips will make you cry. That is why if you have a BRZ or FR-S you have to get the xpel film on the front bumper at least. The front bumper paint is very thin of these cars. Also if you have bigger rims and tires, you need mud quarts or xpel film on the lower part of the rear bumper to protect this area from rock chips.

Also you have to get some kind of paint sealant...either Opti-guard or Cquarts or some other good paint sealant. Also before you get the paint sealant done you have to get the car polished. That will get rid of the micro scratches and orange peal.

FR-S looks best in White. BRZ looks best in WRB. But any of the colors are bad ass if you get the proper detail work done on it.

This does not fight rock chips, just to clarify for other posters.

its not just WRB and not just the BRZ/FR-S/86

my mom's Impreza (2013, black) has peel in it too.

as a matter of fact I haven't seen ANY brz/frs that didn't have peel

I really enjoy the red...when its clean, it is a pain to keep clean especially with all the road salt that went down in the St Louis area the past month or so but im used to that as every car ive owned has been red. I also have a disposition to thinking fun cars should be red(Always been a fan of Ferrari F1 and my dads toy car was always red growing up).

Edit: rock chips do suck, I have two fairly far up on the hood and i have been careful to follow well behind other cars but we have a large number of warehouses(semis) around

I was in the same boat until I realized that the car looks amazing in WRB so why was I fretting about greyscales?

Dark Grey... it helps to conceal/blend the ugly plastic strip in front...
