If only they didn't think it was cool to integrate McLaren swooshes on every part of the car. It takes all the brilliant engineering underneath and covers it up with something that looks tacky.

I think the MP4-12C looks better than the P1.

I think I'd take P1 over the MP4-12C. Only becuase the P1 is not as subtle compared to the design of the MP4-12C.

Of course, getting all that acceleration and handling under control require serious brakes, wheels, and tires. The brakes are designed specifically for the P1 by Akebono and feature a new carbon-ceramic composite never before used on a road car that’s been infused with silicon-carbide. McLaren says these brakes can absorb 50 percent more energy in each disc than the standard carbon-ceramic brakes on the 12C. The 15.4-inch front and 15.0-inch rear discs are clamped by six-piston front and four-piston rear aluminum monoblock calipers and can deliver nearly 2 g of stopping power. The wheels are likewise high-tech and made from a military grade aluminum alloy never before used on a street car. The 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels each weigh less than the 12C’s wheels and are wrapped in custom-made Pirelli PZero Corsas.

The 12C is really, really, sedate looking. I like how over the top the P1 is. Very swoopy and curvy in the right way. Way better looking than that Ferrari...LaFerrari.

If the driving experience is anything like the MP4-12C then Ferrari has nothing to worry about. At the end of the day the car that makes you FEEL the best will always win out over numbers and lap times (remind you guys of any other car?)

It's probably similar to the MP4-12C. But then you add a jetpack and a gorilla punches you in the face every time you corner.

I bought the 'Driving Ambition' coffee table book about the F1 years ago. This is like a crazier modern version.

One of two supercars that I would do dirty things for. LFA being the other, despite my occasional harsh criticism of it, and of Toyota because of it.

Top Gear had this car on Monday night. Clarkson was driving it at SPA and was hitting 190......on a wet track! Squeeling like a little girl. He stated that the rear wing actually lowers itself above I think he said 150 mph because the downforce would actually damage the rear suspension. Car also has an electric motor but it is only good for like 6 miles without the engine running.
