I will install mine this weekend.
It can but I prefer to have the armrest down at all times. The door cup holders work fine for me. I rather have an organizer in the center for all my junk

The lid on mine stays up and clicks when it's in full upright position. It doesn't flap back down unless you actually close it shut.

And a huge thank you to jpit!

I wonder if taking the whole armrest apart during installation has anything to do with this. Did you bend it back during installation or take it all apart?

It should regardless of whether u take it apart or not. I didn't have to bend those clips

Big, big thank you to Jpit on this one. Mine came late last week. I haven't had time to put it on yet, but it sure looks good!

Got the armrest to put on, as well as some other stuff but time has been short lately, lots of things going on. I'm hoping for a slow down soon so I can work on my ride.

Thanks again to Jpit!

I got home and had the armrest waiting for me! Now, a this moment is is too cold to install, but I will update with more installed pics tomorrow afternoon.

Amazing packaging on jpit's part. A+++

The PN in question

Package damage when delivered to jpit

OEM packing

Sexiness

Hardware

Notes: the nylon inserts have a brass insert for the torx screws. Very nice - I didn't expect this much.

The armrest itself does not have as much padding as expected. Still comfortable.

The stitching is the exact color of my cars stitching. I've seen concerns about this, and my unit is a perfect match.

Edit: it HAS to be torn apart to install. The padding does not allow it to open enough to screw I the two bolts on the passenger side

Will be updated with install pics soon!

"Edit: it HAS to be torn apart to install. The padding does not allow it to open enough to screw I the two bolts on the passenger side" how do you do this??
