I'm running FA500's, lowered 1.75" (44mm) square. I started with them bottomed to see my maximum drop, and then moved up from there for the visual drop I wanted, which was the top of the tire (225/40/18) flush with the fender; also knowing being lower would reduce clearance and affect my handling.

FA500 max lowering
- Front: ~3"
- Rear: ~2"

As FT86SpeedFactory stated, put lower rear LCAs like Stance, and you'll be dropped 3" square.

Disclaimer:
Once you go below 1.5" drop, be prepared to buy rear LCAs or camber bushings, Toe-Arms, and for you handing to be potentially degraded.

Sorry for this half-year bump, but has it been determined if the Swift spring upgrade sits lower than the FA springs?

I have the DSG Special Edition 500's. The rears do not in fact go very low. It makes it even worse for me since I have a small sidewall on 17' wheels. Considered selling them and then buying the BC extreme lows, but that's totally not worth it. Rather just go the option of buying the Stance LCA's. For next year, looking at having a 18x9.75 set up so hopefully that'll fill in the rear tire gap in addition to having the Stance LCA's.

However, I can say that regardless of them not going as low as I'd have liked, they ride absolutely AMAZINGLY. My girlfriend rode in my car after I went from my previous coils to the FA 500's and she mentioned how "her girls were bouncing around less" and she didn't know that I changed suspension. So I think that speaks much more than anything I could possibly say about them.

Just found this.

Put my rears on tonight. After the first try I found I was 1 inch higher than stock.... lowered it some, and now I'm back to STOCK ride height, but looks like I only have about an inch more that I can lower before I'm maxed out...

Something seems seriously wrong... thoughts? These pics are at stock ride height, about 26.5" from the ground to the fender.

This is with SPC LCAs and 9k swift springs.
