I bought one used for $150. It is a stock diffuser off an elise/exige.

I made my own aluminum brackets to position/hold the diffuser.

I cut a sheet of mesh grille to the appropriate shape and attached it to the bumper.

I wish this was a kit :/ I don't have acess to anything other then jack stands and basic tools. And since my FRS isn't my 95 honda civic, I'm a lot more worried about Fing it up lol.

Uh oh, i've done something...

Unfortunately my last track event granted me my first spin which subsequently claimed my rear diffuser as it got caught on the grass/weeds and folded itself under the car....in enters Difflow Diffuser.

Yes it does. Not keen on removing rear lights or getting a new exhaust unfortunately.

Looks great, Ive been thinking up some rear aero as well.

Did you have to cut the large section out of the bumper or is it a separate piece you can unbolt?

Cut. Used a dremel cutter bit then a grinding stone to smooth it out.

I am all for the hard work guys. I just have to ask, cars like the Elise have a complete flat underbody which makes flow from front to back smooth. And clearly functional.
Just because you strap in a diffuser in the rear does not mean you will get the same effect, namely when the massive cross member is in the front of all of it.

Just for example the goal is to move non turbulent air into the difuser.
Per this image:

Exige Elise

The FR-S/BRZ is not going to have the same effect, my guess it may not going to do much and at higher speed create balance problems.

FR-S

Its mess under there:

It has to be better than nothing.
