Couldn't wait any longer for a Diffuser to hit market...

Exige/Elise Stock Diffuser Installed:

The exhaust was custom made to fit the diffuser that I fab'd up and installed (diffuser is from an Elise). The exhaust is made by Burlingame Mufflers: Performance and Custom. It is a hair quieter than my Muffler delete I had before this and should be a good start to remedy any rear end lift on high speed sweepers that I was getting with my muffler delete.

Full 2.5 inch tubing with 3" tips. A Race Magnaflow muffler installed midship where the stock resonator used to be.

The big hole in the Diffuser (used for the elise exhaust) is now covered with a plate. =)

Beauty Rings now surround the exhaust tips (see last pic).

Replaced it with a Difflow Diffuser (http://www.difflow.com)

Awesome! Let us know how it works at speed.

Awesome fab work! Sorry to nitpick but it looks like the right exhaust pipe is sitting higher than the left in that last picture.

Looks good but I question the safety of cutting the rear bumper beam.

Looks and sounds nice, but why not make it simpler and use the stock single exit location out the bottom middle and not have to mess with cutting the bumper? And what will be done about the rear reverse lights?

Because racecar.

No but seriously, the point of the diffuser is to smooth out airflow under the car and that diffuser needs to be as flat as possible. An exhaust like that would defeat the purpose. Also, it looks more exotic this way! :happy0180:

By the way, picked up some speed this time around at the track. I am halfway through the day. Car just hooks up. Can't lose it even if I tried. Running consistent 2:12's at Thunderhill bypass. My best last time was 2:19 over the top.
