Has the car shut off on you when switched into map 3? I was sitting at a stop light today and decided i wanted to do a little spirited driving switched the map to 3 and bam every light on my dash went off and car turned off.

Car started back up fine. So i tried switching it to map 3 again no problem this time. I get to a light and the idle drops below 700 and almost stalls. So I went back to map 1 and drove it home cautiously. Has anything like this happen to you guys?

Never. Which version tune are you running?

I'm always on map 3 because I enjoy the auto blip.

I make it a habit to drive in map 3 only. Actually over this weekend I was driving home from dinner. I was slowing down to a stop to make a left turn. Right before I stopped the car just shut off. It didn't shudder, shake, or jolt like it was going to stall. Just a gentle, "I'm off now" from Lola. She fired right back up and finished her service.

I figured I just didn't push in the clutch in time before the car stalled. I have "gentle" stalled her before so I thought this was another one of those situations where I goofed. For those who don't know gentle stalling appears to bystanders that I turned off the car intentionally rather than stall unintentionally.

If this happened to you, maybe this has to be looked at.

I have what Perrin calls the Rev6 tune. They sent me this after I asked them to turn of the P0420 CEL code that throws when you have no catalytic converter.

A very similar thing happened to me the first time I switched to map 3, the idle got much more rough than usual, then I stalled in a parking lot after driving about 3 miles. Since then I haven't had another problem, but I almost exclusively use map 1. It's plenty fast. I assumed the stall was related to the rough idle I have had since I got the car, I really wish that someone would sort that out.

I am running the rev 5 92 octane map. I am currently filling up with 93 pump gas. Could this be the reason this happened?

93 here as well. Do you change it on the fly while under load or just cruising? At stops or? Just wondering.

I think almost everyone is running a stock intake. My initial feeling was that even if the intake was different, it wouldn't change anything with the MAF being after the IC.

I ran rev5 for a while, this sounds very odd
those of you stalling, I want to test something is it stalling when the car does a idle dip?
are you ate the factory rpm idle?

1-does it happen consistently?
2-does it happen with the air filter removed?(I can send anyone who wants to test this my hi flo filter if you send it back to me)

I like my motor with a slightly higher idle. I raised it for NVH on the perrin mounts, but love the ever so slightly higher idle's mitigation of idle fluctuation and dips that seem native to our platform

1-no, it only happened twice. I tried it out this morning again it worked no problem.

I have only changed it when stopped. I can try while cruising later today and see.
