I don't get you guys bashing John for the product he is selling and his extreme involvement in the community.

It's like having an excellent dealer of X car that goes above and beyond to take care of you, answer all your questions, and basically make sure you are as informed and happy as possible. In the end they are still trying to sell you something in the best way possible and will spin/ position their answers in the right light to do so while remaining truthful.

No one at all will fault an outstanding dealership like this for doing so. If you found out that there was something about the car you bought or are considering that just didn't meet your expectations or turned you off in general do you then blame and badmouth the dealer that went out of their way to help you even though it didn't work out?

I don't fault John for getting defensive at times when he chimes in on this sort of question with honest answers while other ecutek tuners stay out because of his dedication to the community and then folks come back and aim their frustration at him.

In my mind I also don't quite like the aspect of Ecutek that Dave described above but the overwhelming support provided by John along with his honesty and the many pleased customers is enough to get me over that hump.

Sure its something it would be nice for Ecutek to change but I'm not going to blame John. It's only with the support of guys like him that have a rapport with the company that we may be able to see something done about it.

It isn't his fault.
