You should also buy the Perrin crank pulley too. Revs are quicker.

Intakes are all personal preference. All will have gains. Depends on what kind of sound your looking for and how much stress you want to put on the motor.

Didn't Airaid lose power on the dyno? The MAF sensor can also cause problems on some set ups with CEL's and mixture problems but a search will find the reliable well sorted versions.

It may have. I never really followed the air raid intake. But I did see it go on sale!

I think I will as well. Waiting to buy the complete exhaust including header first. I think I will go with Perrin for the tune.

Perrin has a base tune according to what I'm aware of. If you go to pre. I believe that's what nick is doing. And they will tune your car with your mods for optimum performance.

Chen, question I don't understand. After I install the intake system, do I need to tune the car???? I just ordered the AFE Takeda DRY S intake. should be here next week or so.

Tunes arent required. But if you do get tuned it helps maximize the performance of the intake. I wouldnt suggest getting a tune for just am intake tho. Tunes can be very expensive if you go that route. My recommendation, get all your bolt ons first than tune. Ie exhaust, intake, headers and maybe turbo if that's in your budget. I'm currently untuned with a headerback exhaust and intake. I'm waiting for at least headers before I decided to tune.

Perrins will do that. Plus you get auto blip down shift, flat foot shifting, and other great things. Either way, you can't go wrong and will get the best from your mods.

Oh? I was told theirs was just an off the shelf tune. Could be different now.
