Just got back from a great drive with @Simpleviet We did La Honda Rd -> Stage Rd. -> Pescadero, then I took Skyline back home. What a great loop! Though I forgot how narrow and sketchy Stage Rd. can be at times. And we were also stuck behind a slow-ass Camry for half of Pescadero (which was followed by a close call - I think I came around the corner and saw Simpleviet fully sideways ).

@tdominant510 - did you end up showing up? We waited at Alice's for you until a little after 8am, but it was freaking cold out there! Sorry if we missed you!

It was definitely a fun drive. Stage Rd never been on it first time. It felt like the car commercials professionally driven on those roads. I saw the road going over the hill. I was thinking of it. I was hoping we would go there and we did. I was excited. Thanks. I loved it. The trees on both sides of the road it felt like I was entering into a private property heading towards a mansion later down the road hahaha. I wish we did take a picture at that spot. Overall it was a change of scenery and I appreciate it a lot more.

As for the sliding of the car. I pushed the car too hard in that turn. I did have VSC sport on. Usually I never have the aid on unless it was wet and it was wet during the morning. When I slide I don't exactly know how to react to that. I turn the wheel more left while the tail was just sliding to the right. I was like whoooooooaa that's my reaction out of it. Bad judgement on my part. I made it out alive with a stroke of luck and a happy grin. I became more cautious down the road.

Nice pics Anthony and good save. Stage road, like many, can give you a nudge in the rear if you're not expecting it, unfamiliar with it. Advise that you may wanna keep off the VSC button if it's an unfamiliar road, it'll help your car get more grip. If the car begins to slide, let off of the gas and ease up (don't lock your hands) on the wheel. Don't fight the slide. Use good judgement and scan as far as you can see, i.e. if I can't see 20yards, or the exit thru the turn, I go into 'prep mode' - foot off the gas, light on the wheel. May wanna tap the breaks earlier (before the turn) as well since you may not have the engine break as a manual. All this comes with time, patience, practice, and familiarity with the road.
