Just ran Palomares myself this morning. Much the same as it was before. The bridge they were working on was so short, and now has a small mid-corner bump. Still a but of gravel and dirt on the road so be careful!

We'll start in CV, take Palomares down to Sunol, then double back and do it again back up to Redwood Rd for some bonus driving time. Come join us for a fun East Bay backroads tour!

Meet at 7:30AM in the Petco parking lot. There is a coffee shop (Bodi's Java) nearby. Roll out by 7:45AM. All are welcome, please drive safely.

My pleasure... thanks to everyone who came out for the drive! We had a great turnout for a Sunday drive, and the conditions were great ... aside from the (flock? gaggle? squad?) of wild turkeys on the road we had a pretty clear route.

My video from the drive... The Burz was hogging all the camera time LOL, next time I do the rear-facing GoPro maybe we'll make more of an effort to cycle through cars in the chase view for some variety.

Well, I may be in town this weekend to check out some cars... I'm not one who shy's away from some rain

You should do it if you come down! Saturday is packed for me. Sunday I was gonna try to wash the car since it's been over a year!

Plus, my rear tires are at the wear bars. New tires Monday!

I couldn't resist the opportunity for a Sunday (Christmas) morning drive to Mt. Hamilton. It was clear, cold and best of all, no traffic.
