Looks like rain on Sat, but sometimes that means clear roads and no cyclists . I'm also open if you guys wanna do an early morning drive Sunday.

Well damn, I wanted to go out for a drive tomorrow for my birthday since I took the day off work, but it looks like the rain is going to ruin that idea

Yeah it's been pretty dry for the most part lately and then rains... I was going to wash my car finally and then spotted that rain was in the forecast and my heart just broke. Also, everyone be careful out there with the summer peformance tires.. it's slippery.

Happy b-day bud! Maybe its a sign to practice your "car control" at the naval area, I hear they make for very good skid pads

Garage
I checked the forecast for today and it said it was sunny all day so I took a risk and went for an early morning drive with my fiancee and cousin in her S2000. We finished eating at Alice's when we hear a swarm of burbling V8s. We look around and there's a huge group of Mclarens rolling past. They had two P1s (one yellow, one orange) and every other Mclaren model in just about every color. There was even a Nissan GT-R in Martini livery in their ranks.

I quickly hopped in my car and joined their caravan, just to listen to their glorious V8s. They eventually broke off and pulled to the side of the road to take a group shot. I didn't want to bother them so I kept driving down 84. Plus, I really wanted to keep driving to test out my new suspension.

Here's a short dash cam video of me following them. Sorry for the potato quality.

It was a good day.

I thought I knew the limits of grip of my tires but apparently not. The car just grips and grips now. Some corners that used to trigger traction control when I was on springs no longer do, meaning I'm putting the power down more effectively. Impressed so far but I have to shake them down more.
