Anyone want to do a drive 9/15, 9/16/ or 9/17? I know it's not a weekend, but the streets should be pretty empty.

Come on up/over/out to Oakdale Saturday, Sept 12 and enjoy the ride, old and new! We had a blast last year!

We will travel with the Datsun group up to the Sonora area and then we will split off and head back down to Mariposa area and then back to Modesto. There are some fantastic roads along the foothills in this route, I plan on being back in the Modesto area in the early/mid afternoon. Depending upon how many come along, we can stop for food/beverages or just a quick stop for goodies and chat along the way.

@tintumz22 Thanks for rolling out with Frank today for the drive! Sorry that you had some rubbing issues which slowed you down! Hope you both liked the roads, lets do this again soon!!!

Thank you for setting this up. It was nice to be out for a drive. It's been a while since the last one. Awesome roads but not that tree in the middle of the road. About that? It's crazy no rub marks anywhere inside the fender liners except the hand brake line so I adjust it again all the way inside with a hammer. Need to test it out again to know if the rub is still there. It was nice meeting you guys! See y'all in the next drive that i can make it.

Too bad I missed you guys (my alarm was accidentally set for 6pm and never went off ), but I went anyway. A lot more crowded around 8am, but on the plus side, came up to a trio of Polaris Slingshots at Palomares! All three had biker looking white dude, complete with beards/goatees, "skull cap" style helmets and bandit bandanas! Was not what I was expecting, but gave them a huge thumbs up when we finally parted ways.

I'm debating rolling out of Alameda at 6:45am Saturday morning and doing either a Pinehurst -> Redwood -> Palomares -> Sunol Super Stop 94 octane OR Mines Rd to Junction drive.

Someone talk me out of it.

I was trying to see if I could give anyone deja vu, but yeah I wanna do another Saturday drive

Maybe @BigFatFlip can reverse engineer his alarm this time so it goes off at 6am instead of 6pm.
