My GoPro is having issues -_-'. It didn't even record until halfway through the cruise towards inspiration mountain.

Even though we just did a nice short drive on Sat, I'm thinking of doing another one since I have tmrw off. Any suggestions?

I was thinking the same thing... maybe go up 128/Lake Berryessa again.

Or just take it easy and sleep in.

Decided to sleep in a bit. Thinking about heading up to winters around noon perhaps.

Haha, out on the road now and just taking a break. Ended up waking up early (damn you alarm clock!), dropped off the Mrs to work and decided to just go straight to St. Helena. We might cross paths, I could join you on the way back west lol

Which GoPro are you using? If it's the Silver or Black Hero 3+ you should be able to use the built in WiFi system to control/preview the camera from your phone. That way you can start/stop function whenever you want and/or preview what exactly the camera view is for adjustments.

It's the Hero 3. I know I can control it through the WiFi. It's just that sometimes when I turn on my GoPro and start recording(doesn't matter through the device or Wifi) it stutters and takes a bunch of photos instead of a video(despite being on video record mode). I would then have to restart it by pulling the battery and microsd card and putting them back in so it will record the video and not cause that stuttering error. Just updated the firmware. Let's hope it doesn't crap out on me again.

I wonder if you can send it back? Get them to fix it? I think they are based out of Sunnyvale, or Los gatos or somewhere south. It maybe free if it's still within a year of purchase.

I just updated the firmware. So let's hope there's no issue. It's been about a year more or less so warranty just expired I believe. It maybe just be that the GoPro haven't been used that often.
