Almost childish IMO. Instead of worrying about the FRS knock out that engineering program with a 4.0 and once you land a job in your field you can buy the car with ease instead of taking out a 30K student loan.

I really wanted this car but sadly Engineering is more important. I'm pissed.
Rather than viewing your situation as unfortunate, be appreciative that you're able to get a good education that will open doors to better jobs and salaries.

Also, if you'll be living on campus, there's this:
Due to a limited amount of space for parking, first-year residential students are prohibited from having a car on campus for the duration of their first year. A RTA line provides bus service throughout the Dayton community. In addition, the University provides a ride board for students, allowing those with cars to post rides available and those without cars to post rides needed.
Good luck.

You aren't the only one. I'm in college also. It's all about being patient and working hard. Don't worry and try to save money.

Shafted? That's fucking cheap what they pay. Maybe I should have thought about Uni in Australia... hmmmm.

For Foreign students, Penn State cost about $36k per year.... this was 7 or so years ago, don't wanna imagine what it costs now.

Are Libyan chicks hot though? Might need a seconds degree on of these days, or it would be handy not to have to spend on future kids (scratch that if things change totally since Gadafi is gone).

No point any more. Since what happens it all went to shit
They used to get free edu, then when graduate, if cant find a job, get payed the starting salary for their profession. Then when get married, get equivalent of 70-80k USD to start a house hold
There is more but cbf

Edit
50k when get married, 50% sub on car

95-96 (S14) will run about $4000 to $6000.
97-98 (S14) will run about $7000 to $10000.

Add about $3000-$5000 if its got an SR20DET engine swap. Manual transmissions will go for about $1000 more than automatics.

240SXs are a bit over-priced because of their popularity in the drift scene. But if you're patient and keep checking places like autotrader, cars.com, craigslist and forums, you could get a really great deal. Especially if they don't know how popular the car is.
Those are what people ASK for them, not what they get for them. I've been trying to sell my current project S14 for a while now ( http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2921 ) for under 10k, no bites sadly

That's it! I'm moving to a white ol' van NOW! Anyone wanna be my roommate? This way we can BOTH afford our very own brand spanking new FR-S when it comes out. How awesome is that?
The 2nd-row seat is mine though. You can have the third row. Other restrictions apply. PM for details.
