Not trying to sound rude. But if you were a car guy you would top it up when you check fluids at fuel fill up. You never run out of any fluids that way!

In a pinch you can pee on the windshield. It works surprisingly well as a de-icer.

Every time you fuel up? That seems a bit excessive on a modern car...

Sure, a little. Every fill up is a tad bit more than a little in my book.

This kind of answers the question. I work at a toyota mfg. auto plant and all the Camry's built that are Canada bound have the low windshield washer fluid indicator light on the meter cluster.

I worked for Denso and was a project manager for the TMMC plant here in Cambridge (I've been to TMMK many times). I already knew that the indicator was on most of the Canadian vehicles, but from what I saw of the RX and Corolla production, most of the northern US states got it as well. (Denso actually produces both the washer tank, sensor, and the meter cluster for the Camry).

Have to agree with you, never had a car without the indicator..

But dont worry, we do have a spare useless speedometer to make up for it.

yes, pee contains ammonia which has lower freezing point. highly recommended to pee in your windshield fluid reservoir or pee directly on windshield in case of emergency.

I don't do the half tank fill ups and the $10 dash and go. So I'm 1 1/2 - 2 weeks between, not a bother.

My Camry has an awesome indicator. When there's no more fluid spraying, that indicates I'm out.
