I seriously doubt an FR-S owner would steal BRZ headlights to swap and drive around expecting to not get caught. Just because you're a thief doesn't mean you have no common sense. When someone steals things, it's usually to make a profit, not to use.

To OP, sorry about your car.

Thieves are such scumbags I swear. Sorry this happened to you dude. Also to the people saying it must have been an FR-S owner why don't you use your head. Do you really think someone who owns an 86 would defile another 86 for the sake of some headlights? My money would be on some douchebagel trying to make a quick buck selling BRZ headlights that "fell off the truck" to some likely unsuspecting FRS owner.

This is more reason why manufacturers need to start partnering with aftermarket alarm companies if they won't supply good enough alarms from factory. With enough support I'm sure Viper would be willing to mirror the vehicles warranty in order to get more people to spring for it.

Curious. I've never really heard of the Viper Window Film. Aside from it sounding very similar to tint what makes it so different?

http://www.viper.com/Tint/Products/SecurityFilm.aspx It is tint more or less, they just call it "Window Film".

Preferably while crossing the street at night, hit by a bus that had its headlights stolen.

After reading through this and seeing pictures. Please no DIY on how to remove things from our cars for the sake of anti-theft. Let people who own the car figure it out themselves

That's not nice. BTW, what is your home address, do you keep your car in a garage and do you have an auto alarm system??, any guns in the house? We've got to make a decision but don't want to waste our time. Sincerely, The Dog.

anyway, my avatar is a big potato because it's easier for me to spot my own post when i quickly scroll down the thread. Most people here use pictures of their cars which makes me hard to find my own if i were to use a car picture. I'm pretty sure people are not interested to see another BRZ avatar
I prefer a photo of myself,

Seems like a lot of work and expense just to open the hood for an oil change or oil check, but, I don't live or work in a theft-prone neighborhood. (not saying that anyone else does)
