A supra rolled up and revved... I rolled up the 5% and cried a little inside.

A VW Bug with racing stickers tried to put me in my place this morning, but I was having none of it. Not that I am bragging.. This was the non-turbo VW...

I had a 5th gen Camaro SS pace me for about 2 miles before he finally realized I wasn't going to race him.

Old, ricer Scion TC was revving me up at a stoplight

I was gone before the light turned green, as in, I was making a right turn.

Was driving and past the Fwy off ramp and I see a fixed up Jett waiting to merge. Didn't make anything if it...until I see him rush up next to me and upshifting every 2 secs....to show off his turbo with blow-off valve. He speeds up and was cut off by traffic. Win.

I might add both cars are pretty exhausted with a good amount of mileage on them! wish my buddy would have got a video as he watched the race from a few cars back but he couldn't keep up in his tc2. Driver mod ftw I guess and or my car was built by ninjas haha
Err.... the skepticism is easy to understand, frankly. The only RB25 engines 240sx drivers tend to swap for are the RB25DETs which do 250-280hp when stock. And the type of person who imports and engine swaps a motor like that does not leave them stock, so you're realistically looking at way, way north of 300hp for that engine, which in a stripped out 240sx will go to plaid. If it's really as slow as an IS300, it's either a dying or ridiculously poorly tuned (and likely dying) motor or it really is an N/A RB25; which seems suspect given the expense and hassle of acquiring/swapping the engine for one that isn't really a huge upgrade when there are so many better swap options: RB25DET, RB26DETT, CA18DET, SR20DET being the most common.

Ill get a vid if I run into him next time! I agree man trust me I don't go looking for races, and I had a 240sx before my frs and also have a mk3 supra with a 1.5jz swap and 67mm turbo. I know the rb25 240 should have blown our doors off lol! I do think his tune is very poor. It runs very rich, motor has low mileage and is good. He is off either a tooth or two so that would make a difference as well. It is turbo lol, it literally has an intake manifold, exhaust, intercooler, boost spikes a little but virtually a stock rb25det. I know the skepticism I just wanted to share what I did in the good ol stock frs Can't wait to boost my car and make it really funn!

Sitting at a light yesterday, first in line, watching traffic go by when an orange acura passes through the intersection (think it was an integra). He's driving normal until he's right in front of me and then smashes the gas to show off how "sweet" his car sounds. Then goes back to driving normal.

Had a golf do the same thing when he passed me going the opposite way. I always get a kick out of it. Usually never sounds good, except for a mustang that did it this morning. Man that thing gurgles...
