I dont race on the staright lines, specially highways. If shit happen, you can kill yourself or worst killing a family. When some revup at you on the street ask him to follow you and find a mountain path where you have a clear advantage.

Chased a mazda CX-3 or CX-5 through the backroads today downhill, driver was doing better than me, probably on new tires though. My front tires were shot while my rears are new, just only hanging on. I guess those mazda crossovers are pretty sporty for what they are.

@p1l0t actually no, that would mean they got away from me. I was basically coasting downhill in 3rd the whole way and they were going fast as well and having an easier time, again because my front tires are worn and theirs looked brand new.

But hey you want to try to beat cars on worn tires more power to you, you wanna go crash be my guest..

I had a beamer 5 series up my ass once, not quite fast enough to pass me in time for the turn. He slowed down for it. I didn't. I never saw him again. Straight lines only last for so long.

@p1l0t not sure how that applies to my story, but I've had many of the same situation, probably the same 5 series driver.

Probably not the same guy. Probably just another guy learning a hard lesson he won't forget. I didn't even set off my VSC.

I will say the CX-3 was pretty good looking for what it could do. They weigh ~2800lbs base and it is a Mazda so, well done mazda. They even come AWD.

Last night, an older 5th gen Camaro on paper plates kept trying to line up with me on the interstate. I already knew this was gonna be a recipe for disaster.

Tonight, a modded out TC with those ghetto eBay HID kits lined up and paced next to me with my cruise set.

Luckily my tint is so dark, these people have no idea I just flat out ignore their presence.

So today I went stage 2 and when coming home, my buddy and I were at a stop light and I was revving the engine listening (and smelling.... catless stank) and he noticed behind me was a Slingshot. One of those 3 wheel things- they have no weight but a small motorcycle engine. 1750 lbs curb weight, 173 BHP/166 Tq- pretty close match for the twins really.

When I went around the corner he was matching my speed following me and I took a sweeping right to get on a long highway on ramp and he followed. Then the road goes to a sweeping left up a hill and I took it hard (I was not racing, I'm seeing what the stage 2 tune has), he tried to keep up but came REALLY close to throwing it into the guard rail. There was a wiggle, brakes, gas, wiggle then he caught it.... Handling FTW
