Dave, I have no idea how I really understood what you were saying LOL. I'm just a bit angry that some people will decide not to purchase a car because it doesn't have a small feature.

What I want is a super cheap starting base model, THEN we add all the goodies we want. But a lot of people want everything in one package and expect to pay little. Like Zaku said, the point of the car is to be bang for the buck sports car.

Stop playing with my emotions by saying that Toyobaru will not reveal the price in Janurary!

And about Yamaha, I think I remember reading somebody saying something about Yamahas part is what made it a screamer 4 cyl.. idk I could be wrong.

Ah fun thread is fun. Let's just hope Toyota/Scion are REALLY some mysterious members on this forum lol

I think this statement may be truer than you think.

i am really happy that the scion have a key instead of a damn push button. i like physical and mecanical things. i hate car with electronics everywhere.

for those that like push button, i hope there will be that option available for you guys.

if not, then BRZ is the only option, witch is not that bad.

if the FR-S mrsp is 24 999$, add the pdi, taxes and fees here in canada, quebec it will be more than 31k, i cant see myself spending that much money for that car. i wish i can have it for 25k out of the door.

Let's hope it's true.

I would love to see everything as separate options, not expensive packages.

OMG to all you guys who can't READ the other threads. They released one with all the luxury, just not in the USA. WOW! You guys just can't stand the fact that we have an opinion about whats not coming to the USA vs the rest of the world.

and yes I'd say it AGAIN too!

This is why I respect Porsche and Lotus so much. They know how to make a TRUE sports car. No carpets, no radio, no bs heated seats or mirrors, just a pure fun drivers car. Toyota and Subaru should have thought about that when making this car. I guess they kinda did considering the Scion/Toyota is more of a drivers car and the Subaru is a point A to B car......

Yea I said it, /thread

The BRZ premium only comes with HIDS and Navigation system over the FRS. Everything else is the same.

Figure only about $1000 to $2000 difference max in MSRP price.

Unless you are buying in Canada - then, based on the respective Canadian markups over US prices on other models for both Scion and Subaru, expect a BRZ premium of $5000-6000. Maybe Subaru won't even bother bringing the car up here, knowing their sales will be abysmal.

Yes and no... most of us will likely Dash mount for GPS use.

You are 100% correct. Canada will be buying the Scion not the Subaru.

Hey at $22k I can understand that the FRS is stripped like it is. It's the Toyota 86 low-spec with the white tach and a radio. Perfect for a base car. I am ok with that. But Scion just let me add options. But Scion if you base this car at $25k...I don't know...Its still going to sell but I think at that price it should include more standard equipment. I look at all the other Scions and they are all well equipped. Its actually amazing at how much standard equipment you get in the tC.

Just give me the option to pay for what I want.

But Scion thanks for making this car.

Since the only way to get push button start is the BRZ Limited with Nav built in.. I'm not sure most would...

I wouldn't consider this an absolute truth just yet. Hopefully we get accurate specs and pricing in January so a lot of these threads can stop going in circles
