The "next NSX" has been "just around the corner" for almost 10 years so I have a boy-who-cried-wolf syndrome regarding it.

this thing is going to be expensive. a Honda spokesperson has said it will cost even more than the current $100k+ R35 GTR.

Subjective opinion alert: This car looks pretty ho-hum. Comparatively, the FT-1 oozes charisma and soul.

You know, I used to say some cars have soul, some don't. But at some point it occurred to me that no car really has soul. Cars have certain aspects and quirks, certain designs or features, or driving dynamics, that were given to them by the engineers. It's those engineers that have soul. The final product is just a machine. But the better machines, the ones we say "have soul," were generally just created by a better team of individuals.

From the front to the rear, there is nothing that seems interesting to me - the HSV-010 that Honda raced in JGTC looks light years more interesting. To me, somehow this NSX (and even the S600 successor concept) just look sterile and bland - like the product of a robot design team, utterly devoid of emotion. |

I'm still not convinced this production NSX successor sees the light of day in 2015 (2016 maybe) ...Honda's jerked people around too many times before...
With that said, I hope the car does come out...not like I can afford to blow 100K plus on a car and keep my family (lol) but it would still be nice to see roaming the streets |
