If I weren't too lazy I'd pull these when I sell the car.. but no.. they are going with the car whenever I get around to selling

Sorry for the necro-bump but I just installed these today and am a little uneasy about the final torque of the steering rack bolts. Sithspawn's DIY says 55 ft-lbs, but my torque wrench wasn't clicking (granted, I've never had it re-calibrated) and I was already noticing the metal washer start to deform and cave in at the center. I was nervous to go much further so I lowered the setting to ~50 ft-lbs and finally got some clicks.
It may have something to do with the fact that I used anti-seize on the threads, as advised by this DIY, but there was no mention of using a different torque spec so I initially went with 55. I don't think anything broke, and I'm pretty certain that the thing is in tight. Anyone else with a similar experience? Namely, did your washers stay flat or did they bow in after being torqued down? Sorry, didn't take pics
