I got the old set from FT86Speedfactory that came in 2 pieces before they switched over to the 1 piece arm.

Springs or RLCA? For springs i heard RCE and other brands that don't drop the car more then 1" to be safe and reliable for the stock struts. For Control arms there are many like Cusco, Whiteline, and other top brand names just don't go cheap and your fine.

My Eibach Sportlines came with bump stops and i think the pro kit come with them as well just ask the vendors before you buy.

Springs drops your car which lowers headlight level so your line of sight is lower as well.

If you're fixing uneven camber in the rear with LCA's on lowering springs, then you had uneven camber on the stock springs (which is common) Camber adjustment in the rear with a mild drop (1") is overrated for those who want a 'budget' drop. Bottom line, if you're fine with the way your car handles on stock springs, you'll probably be ok with just lowering springs and no rear camber adjustment. Camber will increase yes, but not excessively so - you still need alignment to make sure your toe is correct. Are adjustable LCA's better? Sure, but I'm seeing a lot of people saying they're *required*. For a 1" drop, they're not, especially for those who are just street drivers. Also spring for crash bolts for front, dial in an extra bit of camber on the fronts.

True i meant for springs that drop your car more then 1" like my sportlines your going to need RLCA to fix the uneven camber. However i would suggest if you want to go any lower just go straight to coilovers but a mild drop with just springs would be perfectly fine.

Hey guys, I had Sportlines put on my car a week ago. Ever since then I've definitely noticed the ride is a lot harsher and I can hear clanking in the rear tires. Could something be loose or do you think my shocks are screwed up already?

What would be my options to get the ride quality back while keeping the car on the Sportlines? I see a lot of posts about Koni yellows. Are those just after market struts that you swap with the factory in order to improve the ride quality when you lower your car?

I appreciate any feedback. I'm going to take my car back to the shop and ask if they can check out the struts to see if they are damaged. If so then I'm definitely just going to buy something upgraded so that the ride isn't so bumpy.

I've been on sport lines since day one. I honestly didn't notice it being that much harsher but then again I only drove 10 miles on stock setup. As far as clanking noises..def not normal and sounds like there is an issue with the install.

I'm almost to 10k miles and my stock shocks have held up great..really surprised!! Once I install my turbo setup and start spending more time on the track and less on the streets I will be installing coilovers but for pure street use, I think the sport lines are the best option available. Great ride, handling, and looks all at an affordable price backed by a hive company with awesome customer support.

Great choice on springs..just get the install checked out as it should be quiet as stock.

I am also on sportlines and only notice the harshness on big dips on the freeway. I'm trying to figure out my rear camber as it is currently a bit negative and I can't figure out if its the alignment shop or if I need rclas.

Update: took the car back to the shop and they knew what the issue was right away. The rear sway bar was a little loose. No more clanking! Thanks for your input guys. I was starting to regret getting the Sportlines. I had renewed faith again.

My rear camber is -2.0 and -2.1..honestly not bad at all!! I prefer -2 rear and -1 or -1.5 max up front. The toe in/out is what can really burn through tires fast so don't trip on the rear camber at all. You can check out pics of mine in my build thread and I haven't had any excessive wear on my tires at all.

That's good news!! I upgraded to the Eibach sways front and rear at the same time I installed my springs and the car handles like its on rails. This car doesn't need much rear sway bar but just enough to keep it flat in the corners without sacrificing power to the ground by lifting an inner wheel.

I do lift the inner rear wheel when pulling into steep drives at a sharp angle and low speeds but when cornering the car has been AWESOME!
