I read through 1/2 of this entire thread last night, and I will likely follow up with the rest tonight. I wanted to ask about these because they looked very good on a G37S....Vossen VVSCV2

I don't know if Vossen wheels are good - if they are way over $500 apiece (if they have already been mentioned in this thread).

The other wheel I'm looking at is the SSR Type F

These are heavy at nearly 23lbs for the 18x7.5

The Raijins, while looking sweet, have an unknown weight. Enkei is really tight lipped and noone seems to have weighed them. One rumor has a 18x9 wheel at 20.3 lbs. Unless there's some official weights, I won't consider them for the BRZ.

One interesting thing bout the Raijins is that Tirerack said the 18x9.5 will fit in the rear. If you're getting these for the looks more than the performance, then Tire rack has a staggered setup that should work.

Aren't the 8J about 20lbs? Still kinda heavy but not too bad. They are more looks oriented than performance oriented...

So my rim/tire wavering continues, but I think I'm starting to come to a decision.

I'm strongly leaning towards a 17-18lb 17x8 wheel with a 25lb 235/40-17 tire now. It'll be a 1-2lb gain per corner (vs 20lb rim + 21lb tire) which is acceptable for the higher grip level. I could shave that gain and more by going with RS3 tires, but I want the crisper turn-in that the tires with heavier sidewalls provide (Z1* spec most likely).

So I'm thinking 17x8+45 Enkei PF01 or TSW Nurburgring, both are around 17.5lbs.

I'd love to go with the super light Enkei RPF1 or OZ Racing Alleggerita, but I just don't like how either look.
