I know I'm not who you were asking but when I switched to 235/40/18 Hankook EVO 12's on 18x8.5" wheels the steering effort increased a noticable ammount. I liked the stock feeling but have gotten used to the way it feels with the wider wheels/tires.

I'm running 235/40/18 fronts and 255/35/18 rears. I didn't want to throw off the balance of the car by adding too much grip in the rear so I went with an adjustable 18mm rear sway bar to keep the factory characteristics. I'm very pleased with the results! The steering feel is perfect in my opinion, I have way more grip around corners, and I can still step the ass end out at will when I want to have a little fun drifting through corners. That's what this car is all about, right?
If you have any other questions about parts used, please send me a PM and I'd be happy to share or you can look at my topics to find my build thread. Not trying to thread jack the OP.

I wonder if there is a table in the ECU that can be altered via EcuTek or similar means. I'll have to ask John when I get my ECU tuned.
