changing stitching color?

Has anyone tried changing the stitching? Also, is there any plans in future models for scion to have stitching color options to match the exterior??

I think most that have altered have gone for covers or just had it reupholstered entirely. However I can't imagine it would be hard to redo if you are confident with a sewing machine and a seam ripper.

The seats may be easy enough, but you have to consider that there is red stitching on the steering wheel and the leather inserts on the doors as well. Those might be more trouble than it's worth.

I've seen the same somewhere. I think it is a cool, but stupid idea. White doesn't go well with dirt, sweat, oils, or anything that it will come in contact with.

Yeah, I have a Whiteout, but I'm perfectly happy with the red stitching. But for Hot Lava or Ultramarine, I'd be tempted to get the stitching to match those colours.

Most likely a shop will have to reupholster everything. The seats are easy, since you can just get Clazzio or something and have it done however you want. The other bits not so much. Price is going to depend on the individual shop, really.
The only color that I think clashes with the red interior bits is the ultramarine. And as far as I know, short of a Release Series announcement, they won't be changing the colors of the interiors.
The Greddy FRS, one of the first ones we saw, had this done.

Thought about doing this, but for what it'd cost I will probably just leave it alone. I thought about ordering all JPM coachworks stuff with different colored stitching (as it would cost no different than ordering their stuff with red stitching) and ordering Recaro seats so there would be no need to restitch the OEM seats.
