Honestly this thread just reminds me of real life. Some people are just insane. Honestly all I wanted from the rev was for him to rev so I could hear his car! I bet it sounded dope! And his plate literally had the word LOL in it! Lol as in laugh out loud! Haha talk about irony

Saw a '65 mustang the other day, flashed my lights and gave him the thumbs up.

Speeding and revving isn't the right way to aproach someone. The guy in the evo was probably a douchebag, ignore him.

Like I said, I don't see anything wrong with it... all these pretentious a** holes on this site. Dude was probably mad cause his evo is less than notable any more!

I live in the greater ATLANTA area... never been car jacked, and even if I had, that has nothing to do with 1 car enthusiast TRYING TO ACKNOWLEDGE another "SO CALLED" car enthusiast... I light rev of the exhaust is one thing... I could see if he was squealing it at 7,000 rpm multiple times... pretty sure thats not what he did.

AND ALL THESE POSTS ABOUT REVVING IS DOUCHE BAGGISH... thats not stereotyping, saying that everyone who revs their engine is a d-bag? And last I checked, d-bag was a derogatory word, hence PLENTY if not EVERYONE who was against him revving it name calling... cause they all said it was douche-y to do so.

I will rev my sh*t at a light no matter who is around, because I love the sound of my exhaust... point blank, period!

I admit I'm guilty of this myself sometimes, especially when I see something really nice on an fairly clear road. I once came up on a white Aventador doing maybe 65 up in the Bay Area. Got beside him and paced him to try and get his attention. Didn't work so I revved a little which finally got him to look over. Flashed a and , received the same in return and gunned it a little. He obliged by blowing my doors off, slowing down beside me, flashing a peace sign and then went back to driving his normal speed.

Yeah every once in a while people can be dumb, but every now and again people can be pretty awesome too.

im in texas and i have tons of deisel trucks, camaros, mustangs rev at me daily. I look over and most the time they roll their windows down and say: wanna run em? wanna race? This has happened up to 3 times in one night. I completely ignore it now.
OP i have a feeling it wasnt a little rev or blip of the throttle. I have a feeling you saw the car sped up to catch up to him..matched his speed then rev'd up to near redline. wanna know how i know? bc racecar

btw how old are you?

Holy crap you are an angry person!

Perhaps if you weren't so angry you would have seen that I quoted you saying this...

"maybe thats SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY vs WEST COAST DOUCHE-BAGGERY...."

Do you see the name-calling and stereotyping now?

How silly of me... of course you wouldn't, judging from your spelling, language and use of grammar. Never mind.

Did I misspell some words? I forgot I was writing an excerpt for the USA today where grammar was so important...

Language, yes you got me there... I will drop the MF in a heart beat, yep, sure will/do. I assumed you were like every other person on here who is so judgmental on someone's approach at how their car camaraderie skills are "you're being a douche"...

Not sure if its okay for me to post this, I might need to speak to the language and grammar guys to spell check and whatnot.
