haha true, I rather wait another month and not have to think about it once I buy it. Plus if something goes downhill financially, I know what money I have I can use.

I prefer cash too, but you do need credit to buy certain things (like a house) and to build it, as long as you are responsible financially, those no interest options are great. Also, carrying a balance from month to month (always paying it out so you don't get hit with finance chargers are equally good.

Unless of course, you can buy a house cash, in which case you really don't need credit at all.

SHUT UP MR. OFF TOPIC!!!! LOL.... jk.

Yea I know credit is a good thing. My score is in the upper 700's when I bought my car. But I don't want to purchase something this big on credit. Maybe half of it, and half cash... but I hate paying credit cards.

I was thinking SC, but now, I'm thinking TC. Are there any upgrades to internals needed on this kit? Or is the stock long block able to handle it?

Nice.... how hard do you push it though? Being able to handle a couple times on a dyno is different than a "coarse over time" period isnt it? Just asking, cause I truly don't know everything about these engines or sc/tc applications.

From what has been written in the forum (AKA take with grain of salt), in October Accelerated Performance had already done over 200 Dyno pulls and daily beat the crap out of their car, engine still running strong in February. Dynosty about the same. Both of those over 400 whp.

Awesome! Makes me feel better about it. Wish I could compare a tc kit that was comparable to a sc kit and see how lag from tc is to instant power from sc.

Why do people still have this misconception about turbo lag...

Turbo lag on these kits is a myth propagated by the countless posts that spout nonsense about how SC has no lag and flat torque curves...I have yet to see any conclusive evidence in any post on these forums showing that a SC reaches full boost any faster than a turbo kit. The crazy thing about these engines and the current crop of turbos chosen for our kits is that the turbos actually outperform our engines. My Precision turbo 5558 can boost up to 30PSI but at the most i will likely only use 20PSI. Right now with just 7PSI on my base tune power is on tap almost all the time. the only time it is lacking in boost is when I am lugging the engine at 2000RPM or below and step on the throttle hard.

Superchargers are a different approach to the same goal and at the small boost levels that we are seeing for pump gas cars both seem to respond very similar. The real differences will only show at higher boost, where turbos will crush SC for raw HP, but SC will have the upper hand with maintaining the torque through the rpm band.

So for anyone still on the fence about SC or TC, you can't go wrong with either, unless you are unwilling to spend the money on all the supporting mods like tires, suspension, exhaust, etc....in that case maybe you should look elsewhere for your jollies.

I wish as much as you the myth would stop going around. You will find lag in a turbo car is when you use an fairly big snail.

None of the kits offered to date have one. Thanks supermassive for the accurate post.

First off, for all the great work you've put into tuning these things. It looks and sounds awesome and it may be FI the route I go down once I finally take the plunge and drive one of these cars home.

Second, please for the love of all that is good in this world, turn your camera sideways into landscape orientation next time. The photographer/cinematographer in me dies a little whenever I see portrait videos
