PRE wants to know who wants a tune! Getting mine Feb 26th

Had to reschedule my alignment since I waited there for 2 hours, and noticed my car was still in the lot, untouched. I think it is pretty typical, and having low expectations with tuner shops is the attitude I go in to mitigate frustrations.

I usually (after dealing with cobb perrin and pre and other local shops) clear my day of when my car is being worked on. Usually do it on a day off and chill ahaha. weird if you had an appointment and waited 2 hours though?

Went in today to put down my $300 bucks for the tune. They didn't go with ECU Tek. They went with a the new tuning software. It's very similar to open source and this month will only cost $300 bucks to tune your car. You don't need to buy a cable or license of any kind. After their 50% off FEB TUNE special the tune will cost $600. My car will be the first tuned and i'll post dyno graphs n what not after. More info coming soon.

What is the tune gonna be like? do they take parts off the car and put them back together? How long is the tune going takes? couple of days?

Most likely just an ECU reflash. It shouldn't take too long.

P.S. guys can we try to answer these questions in an adult manner? I hate to see new car enthusiasts mocked just for asking a question.

Tuning process: (How it usually works)
Bobby will take your car and put it on the dyno. Strap it down. Then hook everything up. He will then do a base pull to get a data read out. Basically see what your ECU is doing. AFR levels, Timing, Tuning stuff. Then he will adjust all the various things he can and start doing pulls until he finds what he is looking for in the brain of our cars. This isn't a reflash and you drive away w.o actual real time adjustments made on a dyno. This is an actual dyno tune. Most tunes take 5-30 pulls on the dyno to get perfect. But as soon as you get in your car and drive away you will be like

^ it's in the first post. But yes it's changes to your ecu. Bobby puts your car on the dyno and changes stuff does some witchcraft and makes your car go faster. This is a tune that is made directly for your car on the dyno. You get real time info. also a before n after dyno sheet. Bobby will also explain to you what he changed/did and why he did it. Give PRE a call if you want to ask the professionals about the software and how they tune the car.

But PRE can do anything you want. Even boost your car or make a custom exhaust. Just call n ask. They can also order any parts you may want or need.
