A person thats unfamiliar to both, will take the 86 simply because of marketing exposure.
I'm not a Toyota or Subaru fanboy so at the same price I'd go 86 High because of the better looking front bumper and interior as well as 20x as many dealerships.

My Toyota dealer is delaying my delivery date for my 86, while my BRZ is docking on Monday! I should have her mid month.... :happy0180:

Yes, I'm looking forward to driving to my Toyota dealer in the BRZ and asking for my deposit back

I did say I had ordered a BRZ too and would probably take the first one I got, but I was leaning to BRZ anyway

A blue brz drove past me on Monday... Fantastic colour, looks way more expensive than it is. It's exhaust note also has a nice "semi-burble" especially at low rpm when you compare it to the 86. I love the lights too... But it still doesn't justify the price for me.

BRZ docked and I picked up loan Scubi after selling my GTI today and then heard the white, manual high 86 I ordered is at the dealer too, suddenly!

Cancelled 86 and will need to go get my R2k back, but GOOD NEWS is BRZ's are HERE!

My silver has gone for sound, Matrix & tinting today, Monday will be exhaust (Subaru standard one) and PD - I'll be out on the road SOON!

Probably locally manufactured then else it would have come pre-fitted. Could you please check on the box who it's made by once you've got it?

Will do. I'm sure the marketing blurb said Bosal and 'exclusive' (what would you expect from marketing). I know it's noisier, with no real power gain....

Thanks. So do they throw the OEM exhaust away?

I've contacted Bosal, they know nothing about this.

Got my BRZ at last!

Driving my own one (even below 4k rpm for now) is GREAT!
