If you don't plan on removing it often, if at all, there's no real benefit. A flange with nuts/bolts or our slip fit is going to seal just as well.

Good to know. I've heard with the slip fits it's important to heat cycle it and retighten to make sure everything seals well. Is this your recommendation as well?

Thanks!
Nathan

Yes. Stainless expands once it gets to proper operating temperatures, so you do want to double check it after you've cycled it a couple of times. We have done slip fits on various race applications/vehicles and find it to be the best to be honest in terms of adjustability and reliability.

Here is a dyno graph of our Subaru BRZ.

The first run on the graph is a baseline, the second is with our overpipe + HFC, and the third is with our cat back installed.

Car should be coming off the lift this week, then I'll steal someone's GoPro and get some in car footage!

Still working on getting cost down for you guys for the exhaust. As for the video, it's coming soon I hope, we're prototyping an intake manifold for the car right now.

Any updates on the Exhaust? Video?
Any updates on the intake manifold? Is this going to be a Inlet tube like the Perrin Inlet tube?

An intake and intake manifold are 2 entirely different things. if i read it correctly they are toying around with the intake runners and plenum size rather than an intake tube. perhaps looking for gains in the torque dip?

Also @MotivConcepts i noticed that this catback does not sit much if any lower than the factory exhaust which is a big positive for me! i like ground clearance especially since i will be lowered eventually!

Any updates?
