I just had a job in New Braunfels, and went to SA a couple nights. If I head back down there I'll look you up. Id love to hear a Perrin exhaust in person.

Weathertech trunk liner came in and I installed it last night. It fits perfect. Pricey but it matches the front weathetech floor mats.

Rexspeed Convex Mirrors came in yesterday and it was an easy install. It took a while to get use to them, but it does eliminate the blind spots.

I ordered from FT86speedfactory.

TRD CAI came in today. I need to find the time to install it. I am thinking about painting the metal clips a different color or a brush aluminum to give the intake a more upscale look.

TRD intake review.

Quality:
The quality of construction is top notch. The only thing that is cheap looking is the locking metal clips on the air box but you can paint them.

Original Clips

Painted Clips (Flat black\primer with several coats of oil rubbed bronze metallic)

Sound:
It sounds awesome from idle to redline. A very deep growl from 5k rpm to redline. Not too loud just right and this is what the car should have sounded like from the factory!

Drivability:
It fixes the crazy idle these cars have. Idle is now rock steady! Also the low end torque is much better. I have not tried running in the ecutek tune mode yet. Will do that tomorrow along with generating data logs for Dynotronics.

Install:
The install was pretty easy and I am glad the crappy sound tube is gone! All in all this is a good purchase, and we all know it makes some power since we saw an FR-S with this intake on the dyno @ lonestardyno last weekend make almost 179hp on a stock tune.

Conclusion:
Hopefully Dynotronics will be able to tune some magic with the intake. Go buy this intake if you are still running the stock box and you want to stay as close to OEM as possible. It's kinda pricy at $400 shipped but its well worth it.

Just completed some datalogs and wow! This intake comes alive on the ecutek tune and the ecutek tune I have is not even tuned for it yet. It sounds wicked at redline. It's actually addictive to run this car hard now.

Any Feedback on the airfilter? Is it worth the money? Noticed any changes (sound or performance wise?)
The aFe air filter is not worth it. Go with a TRD intake. It's worth it.

Rexspeed Mirrors installed. They really work! You get 30 percent more view angle.
