Screw the trunk. Pull out the useless back seats and put them in there.

Amended. It was a question, correct?

Not trying to hurt feelings, but this is a driver's car for spirited driving with an emphasis on light weight as a goal in design. 'Audio Systems' are antithetical to the ethos of the design of this car due weight and the well known design for the trunk/cargo space to hold four rims/tires, helmet, and bag of tools for track days.

I am quite happy to see that the trunk will hold track tires/rims, and still giggle at those who have to have the '808' bass while shaking all the bolts loose on the car/truck and potentially causing internal bleeding with highly amplified 10-20Hz vibrations.

I was just offering an answer to your question, based upon what most ppl tend to post about.

No doubt, I agree completely with the first statement. The stock stereo is great for my needs, as you stated, each of us is different.

I haven't watched a movie in a car. I would, as you state, step into a theater. I hope you didn't mean that you would be watching the movie as your driving on a road trip...

I plead the fifth...I have a lot of down time at work...so I would go to a red box and rent a movie to pass time

Not trying to be a douche but arent you supposed to be driving not watching movies? Like mkiisupra said, this car was meant as a drivers car not for having a huge sound system, to each their own but if i was into sound systems id probably be driving an impala or chrysler 300, something with a big trunk. To each their own and its your car, but you will find most of the 86 crowd to be addicted to the twisties.

This setup did not sacrifice any truck space.. the rear seats are totally foldable and fit 4 wheels and tires just like OEM:

Its a single 10 =) The installer is well known here in Northern California and he specializes in SQ builds over SPL. His custom fabrication work and attention to detail is amazing, hence he could build these fake floors and retain the OEM look =D
