Exclamation Drop and camber.

I've been trying to find this info for a while and I keep finding different answers. Can people who actually have the drop and have gotten aligned with oem camber arms chime in?

How much did you drop?
How much F/R natural camber did you have AFTER aligning with the drop?
What springs/coils did you use?
Toe in spec?
Caster in spec?
How are you liking the drop/spring/coil choice?

If this info is out and scattered that's fine I think it would be a lot easier for me and other people to find this info in 1 thread.
My old car would freak out with drops and you would need f/r camber kits from a 1/2 inch drop lol

I haven't gotten an alignment yet, since I still want to go a little bit lower, but I'm 100% there is NO rear camber adjustment on OEM camber arms! I'll re-edit this when I get my alignment.

I have heard that. I just want to know what the natural camber is. On my old car with my 1.6inch drop natural camber was -2 front and -2.2 rear but rear toe was out of spec so I got camber arms and toe bolts and got everything back into spec. A little camber is nbd but you don't want any toe.

Thanks!

Assuming you are talking about the rear, no mods there except the springs.

I just dropped mine on the hotchkis sport springs.

1" drop after it settled... No crash bolts or anything, ended up with -.7 degrees front and -1.8 rear. The rear was not adjustable.

Awesome. So I should be pretty save with a 1-1.5inch drop without camber or toe arms.

Completely. The hotchkis and RCE Yellows play nice with the stock dampers too.

I plan in getting the @RacecompEngineering BRZ Lite package in a few weeks. This includes the front camber bolts and rear camber bushings. With this in mind, what is the optimal alignment for mostly DD with a HPDE a month.

Thanks

I've always tried to be in oem spec as far as alignment goes. only time I would think to run a ton of camber is to fit wheels or drift, and would only play with toe settings if it was a track only car. No need to trash ur tires if your DDing ur car.
