Part of the cruise is ends in Hillsboro anyway. Many have already committed to that. If we don't see them on the cruise. Well see them at Perrin. Haha

Yes everyone suffers equally, but I think Portland folks can work to organize the meet this year, then next year Seattle folks can organize it so us PDX folks have to drive up there. I think there's a lot of equality in that.

I like the idea of traveling every other year but lots of people wont do that if its to far. They just wont go! It's like Spokane if they did a meet and started it and went to Boise i would almost guarantee that no one from portland would go. But if they started the cruise in The Dalles and went to Boise you would have more people willing to go!!!

that's true. but what is there to do in The Dalles? or in Centralia? or Yakima? All the middle of the road places are pretty boring. Aside from cruising around, what is there to do? Cruise around then go home? If based in the big cities, Seattle and Portland, there are driving routes nearby and things to do in city limits.

If the cruise starts in a hick town and then goes to an event like perrin it makes it worth while to make the drive, because you have goal to drive to.

Well, I fully plan on setting up pre meets in the Seattle-tacoma area to group up before driving down.

We gotta have the cruise to the premeet and cruise to the cruise and meet.

Aside from Chris Wold, does anyone else have videography/photography skills? Journalism/writing skills would be awesome as well. The better the coverage on this event, the better our chances of successfully pitching sponsorship from vendors and corporate in the future.

Ive got another photographer that could potentially be able to document via video/photograph for us.

I'm not sure if he would be comfortable with the journalistic needs tho.

ill find out and report back in asap.

I remember last year's Seattle cruise down to Centralia less like a group cruise and more like a race... I pretty much lost everyone once we left southcenter, then randomly saw a dude in a BRZ along the way and we caravan'd it the rest of the way.

We should totally do May 25th!! Perrin is having their 86 reception/open house. VIP Performance is also having a BBQ that day in which we can crash! And the 26th is the woodburn event, therein which the out of town folks can stay and enjoy if they so do choose.
