Bump. Wondering how to do this too (without painting nor scratching/buffing it out).

Rubbing alcohol, goof off, mild rubbing compound (compound may result in uneven shiny finish though in that small spot) perhaps?

None of that worked for me. Finally I found a sticker that was small enough to cover that spot that says Boba Fett. Sooo I used that after some flat black paint before that.

Really trying to avoid paint. A sticker would be better.

What about duct tape? ..will it lift it off?

idk, lol...I meant duct tape and leave it on for a couple days to really grip/dry/cure, then peel. (a tint removal technique).

You try goof off yet? ..but i think that would be similar to thinner.

Heat is always known to remove stuff successfully also... maybe duct tape + heat/blow dryer ..then peel off?

As for your question, though, I'm pretty sure everything just comes off...I think it's held on with 2 sided 3M tape, and uses 2 small posts (on the emblem) and holes (on the trunk) to assure alignment.

Check out this tutorial in the DIY section...shows you how to debadge the car...should be easy to figure out how to put the new badges on from there

I hate to "resurrect" this thread, but does anybody know if this will kill the warranty or not?

Can't seem to find anything about it on Google.
